Finding Your Inner Explorer: Catherine

Teacher at Sea Catherine Fuller (R/V Sikuliaq, 2019) from Hawaii donned a parka and sailed to the Gulf of Alaska with the NOAA Teacher at Sea program. However, Catherine was no stranger to the high seas. As an experienced sailor, Catherine also fulfilled a childhood dream of voyaging on a Polynesian canoe to explore several Pacific Islands, where she found deeper connections to her culture and the ocean.
